SHORT FILM REVIEW
Varthamaanam is an interesting script about 2 people – Shyam [gay] & Mac [contract killer] who was hired by Shyam to kill himself. Varthamaanam has a very good script & an equally crisp screenplay. Idea of using a flashback style narration makes the movie standout by adding suspense to the film & also slowly introducing the characters, their relationship to the viewers. At times such complex screenplays can go completely bizarre on screen but Ranjeet has handled it very well in this short film.
Beautiful screenplay & well thought out execution.
